New Single Out Now: “Because the Night” – A Dark Twist on a Classic

We’re proud to announce the release of our brand-new single “Because the Night”, a reimagined version of the legendary song originally written by Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen.

Available now on all major streaming platforms, our take on this timeless classic combines the raw energy of Horror Punk with the dark melodies of Gothic Rock – a signature Hellgreaser blend that gives the track a whole new life.

The song was recorded at Liquid Aether Audio with producer Mario Dahmen, and brings a gritty, atmospheric edge to the original’s anthemic feel. It’s both a tribute and a transformation – made to be played loud.

To accompany the release, we’ve also dropped a Visualizer Video on the Sunny Bastards Records YouTube channel, adding haunting imagery to match the mood of the track.
